Anyone can print their own copy using a regular office printer and A4 paper of their choice.

How to make your own:

Materials
• 30 sheets of A4 paper
• a black & white A4 printer
• a rubber band, around 12 cm diameter

Printing

We recommend that you
1 use a printer which prints on both sides of the paper (but 1-sided is possible as well)
2 first make a test print of 2 or 4 pages to make sure your print settings are correct

How to print if your printer has 2-sided printing:
1 Open the pdf in Acrobat Pro or Acrobat Reader
2 Choose File > Print
3 Choose the following:
“Page size & handling”:
Check Actual size (100 %)
Check Print on both sides of paper
4 Choose Print

How to print if your printer has 1-sided printing:
1 Make sure you know your printer: check which side of the paper is printed on, and in which orientation
2 Open the pdf in Acrobat Pro or Acrobat Reader
3 First, print the pages with odd page numbers in the pdf file:
Choose File > Print
4 Choose the following:
“Pages to Print”:
Check More options > Odd pages only
“Page size & handling”:
Check Actual size (100 %)
5 Choose Print
6 Take the printed pages and reverse their order so that the page printed first is on top
7 Now print the reverse side of the papers. Feed the already printed pile of paper in the printer again and make sure their orientation is correct.
8 Now print the pages with even page numbers in the pdf file: Choose File > Print
9 Choose the following:
“Pages to Print”:
Check More options > Even pages only
“Page size & handling”:
Check Actual size (100 %)
10 Choose Print

Folding and binding

Important: Make sure that the sheets remain in the order they were printed.

1 Make a fold to the centre of every sheet. The gray page numbers remain inside, black ones remain outside.

2 Open the folded sheets as you go and stack them up like this. Keep them in the order they were printed.

3 Gather the sheets neatly into a booklet. Make sure the page numbers run in the correct order.

4 Bind the booklet by stretching the rubber band over the spine.
